About David M.Kaufman
Over 35 Years of Experience in Injury Cases
David Kaufman is a New York personal injury attorney with nearly four decades of litigation experience representing individuals and families affected by serious injuries. For more than 35 years, he has dedicated his career to helping accident victims throughout New York, combining extensive courtroom experience with personalized client representation.
A Long Island native, Mr. Kaufman earned his B.A. from Stony Brook University and graduated with honors from Hofstra University School of Law, where he finished in the top 10% of his class, served on the Law Review, and was President of the Mock Trial Team. After being admitted to the New York State Bar in 1989, he began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in Suffolk County, gaining substantial trial experience before becoming a Senior Trial Attorney at one of New York's premier plaintiff's personal injury law firms.
Approximately 15 years ago, Mr. Kaufman founded his own practice to provide clients with the personal attention often missing at larger firms. He personally handles every case from start to finish, maintains direct communication with his clients, and prepares every matter for trial to maximize the opportunity for a successful outcome. Throughout his career, he has recovered millions of dollars for clients in motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, construction accidents, wrongful death, and other serious injury cases.
Outside the office, Mr. Kaufman is a lifelong ice hockey player who coached a youth team to a New York State championship. He also enjoys improvisational theater and has been married for more than 41 years. He and his wife are proud parents of three adult children and grandparents to six grandchildren.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Natasha is a highly experienced personal injury paralegal with over 18 years of dedicated service in the legal field. In 2021, she relocated to Long Island with her family and continues to provide exceptional legal support and personalized service to clients throughout New York.
Natasha holds a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies and a Master of Science in Legal Research, providing her with a strong academic foundation and advanced knowledge of legal principles, research methodologies, and litigation support.
Throughout her career, Natasha has developed extensive experience managing all aspects of personal injury cases from inception through resolution. She works closely with attorneys and clients to ensure that every matter is handled efficiently, accurately, and with meticulous attention to detail.
Her responsibilities include preparing and filing legal documents with courts and government agencies, drafting pleadings, motions, discovery demands and responses, subpoenas, settlement packages, and other court-required documents. Natasha assists attorneys with case management, trial preparation, deposition scheduling, legal research, medical record review, document production, and maintaining compliance with court rules and deadlines.
